Gorgeous photograph, and some terrific warm light on the peak. The misty mood really makes this sing. I might be tempted to crop down from the top and remove about half of the sky, but that's just a personal taste. Well seen and captured. Cheers! Chris

I agree about the crop, Chris, I attached a cropped version I like better which is cropped from the top and slightly from the left hand side. I also have a B&W version in my portfolio which I like as well. check it out if you have a minute. As I said, I had literally 10 seconds to get this shot before the mountain was totally engulfed in fog!

It was indeed a magical morning! I've got a couple more shots from that morning in my gallery (New Day, Violet reflections). The shots I took and the experience I had that morning solidified in my mind the desire to take photography to the next level. Well worth waking up at 4am for! Hopefully one day soon I'll be able to afford a decent DSLR and CS3 to make that a reality!
