Iris 'Judy Mogil'

The natural lighting illuminated the left side of the flower from behind. After the flower was

masked, I added a digital light source at that area in the background. Good move, or no?

David, your lighting source is fine. When I look at this image my eye is drawn to your writting, which really takes away from what is a nice image.
