ryourth 0 Posted November 6, 2007 Beautiful study in different shades of blue. Like the way the sun just catches the peaks in a very light tone. Also feel the three black rocks in the foregound balance the line of black trees in the background You are getting such great images out west you won't want to return home. whydangle 0 Posted November 8, 2007 Looks cold out there. Super use of composition to convey depth. I love the subtle nuances in the stream and then the contrast of texture in the rocks. I would opt to crop the sky about halfway down since there is no clouds. Another beauty from Younes. Link to comment
iancoxleigh 0 Posted November 8, 2007 Great colours! It does indeed look cold. The rising mist is my favourite element. Stunning. Link to comment
davidclapp 0 Posted November 17, 2007 I'll swap you this one if you like!! This is just amazing, the blue hues and the mist rising off the cold glacial water, beautiful and would make a great magazine cover. Link to comment

michaelsaird 0 Posted March 3, 2008 Hi Younes Beautiful shot. And very different. It's got that cold, blue light with a touch of warmth on the mountain tops. Regards, Michael. Link to comment
anhaga 0 Posted August 4, 2008 Sensational. Nothing else to it - usually the large blue water section would be a little bit of a block in travelling through the image, though it sits effortlessly with the blue stones - but the countless lines of water-flow really make it stand out - wandering through the photo feels almost like it would swimming through the water - constantly dragged a little to the left, also aided by the far sandbank - but then in doing so it catches the eye on the distant left peak, and the glorious colour and texture there generated by the late light. Moving up the ridge, there is more of the same distant warmth. Love this shot, absolutely love it. One of the best I've seen on here in months. J Link to comment
Jim_Dockery_Photos 2 Posted January 8, 2009 Younes, I love this area (having climbed there a lot in the 70s) and have returned to photograph in the 90s. Your shots are some of the best I've ever seen, this one is wonderful. Link to comment
