dark1664881564 0 Posted November 3, 2007 I used Nikkor 10.5mm fisheye lens to shoot this image. Thanks.. Link to comment
arjen van de merwe 0 Posted November 3, 2007 This is great stuff. Are we looking at a composite here? I'm not sure but it seems so. Anyway a very compelling image showing the mantis in an urban environment. The distortion adds to the feel of the image, very well used. There seems to be quite a bit of fill lighting on the mantis, while the leaf seems to lack this, which may indicate a composite. Link to comment
gorkaregidor 0 Posted November 3, 2007 It reminds me of one of those John Brackenbury's photographs, although he uses a manipulated television lens to achieve the same results. I've never owned a fisheye lens so, please, tell us: Is it unmanipulated as you state or the Nikkor 10.5mm fisheye lens can do all this? Link to comment
dark1664881564 0 Posted November 3, 2007 I used fisheye lens, 1.7X tele converter and 2 flash (one is SB-800, another is Sigma EM-140DG ring flash) Post processing are trimming and distortion and DIGITAL LIGHTING(Included in NIKON CAPTURE v4.4.2) Link to comment
