I love this photo! It's my favorite of all the ones you've posted so far (as of 10/02).

Technically, I like the perspective, geometry, detail, lighting and focus (including the blur of the grime underneath the toilet) -- they all work together to capture/present the subject -- the toilet -- in all its filthy glory. The color/hue is the icing on the cake!

I'm not sure if you prefer to work in b&w (all of the other photos you've posted are b&w), but this photo makes me want to see you work more in color. I think you have a great eye for the use of color and it would add another creative dimension to your work.

This shot was taken before the big "clean up". I think the texture

and lighting create a great atompsphere. I wasn't trying to

be "gross" persay, I just felt the scene had a certain character.

The photo has no appeal for me whatsoever, but I like the humor of putting it in the Nature category.

For the reasons already mentioned above it is a proficient photo. It captures the scene as it is and has the further artistic quality of actually giving the viewer the feeling of the scene. It may not be a pleasant and warm feeling, but that's not the point. It is a good artisitc photo.
