kaushikphotography 0 Posted December 3, 2007 Excellent tonal and the sharpness. Great light, DOF and the exposure. Always something different from you. Like it. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted April 2, 2008 Amar, I'm so glad to see you and read you again, you have really disappeared for too long... It is a very impressive portrait, with the "cut" face, the play of light and the sepia tone. Also the tight framing makes the strong presentation of the face. I wonder what is the dark blob on the L of his forhead? Link to comment
atkphotoworks 0 Posted April 3, 2008 Thanks everyone! Pnina, that colouration on his face, if that is what you were referring to, was a type of colouring we added to his face. It's actually a red powder which we mixed with water and put on his face. We were just playing around with some different ideas. I have experimented with the powder on other images from other shoots - the images for which appear at www.atkphotoworks.com Thanks Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted April 5, 2008 Amar, thanks for the explanation. I went with no problems to your personal site, very nice one, even I know nearly most of your photos there...;-)) Link to comment

atkphotoworks 0 Posted June 15, 2008 Thanks Pnina and Alec. Pnina, I have some more new ones up now that you might not have seen. Alec, thanks very much for your thoughts. This image is certainly not everyone's cup of tea, but I am delighted that it was yours. Link to comment
