onlocation 0 Posted October 30, 2007 Peter I am pleased that you liked it.The symetrical stance is the first thing that caught my eye.Secondly it was the blue paintwork against the early morning dawning blue sky. Finally I thought how wonderful it would be to have an opportunity to actually choreograph them to suit available and changing light.....maybe make them look really menacing.....Thank you Link to comment
louise bridge 0 Posted November 3, 2007 Hey, I'd like to suggest that IMHO you would accomplish a more menacing effect here with more severe cropping to eliminate distractions, such as at the left-hand bottom quarter of the way up the edge and maybe also at the bottom edge and lower right as well. Then you could adjust the amount of sky to suit your composition accordingly. Since the image as posted is too large for my screen, you have lots of leeway for simplifying. As it is, you have accomplished getting a menacing point of view on the subject matter, which is the most important thing. But that's just My Humble Opinion, of course. Cheers, Louise Bridge.
