gordonholman 1 Posted December 20, 2007 awsome shot here , it leads Your eye to look at every detail from the forground to the back, it just suck Your eyes in , grass detail , shadow detail, sky blue transformatin , awsome I could definatly hang this on My wall , I am a carpenter by trade and the wood grain in the post and headers is realy awsome got to give you a 7/7 !!! jbm 0 Posted May 12, 2008 Tim, I am not sure why I never came across this shot, but it is really great. I found myself thinking the light looked a little flat, though, and played with it a little. I pulled the color balance on the magenta v green spectrum back towards magenta, then increased the sat on the greens. This gives the grass between the gates a more heterogenous and sun soaked appearance. I also messed a little with the highlights and added some to the clouds and other parts of the picture. katzpjs 50 Posted November 18, 2008 I would have removed the vignetting in the top corners but that is my own preference for such images. A lovely shot that lets me recall some of the scenes I saw in Montana when I was visiting Susan Stone. This shot reminds me of the cattle chute at the old collapsed homestead at the Marty Place.
