I have seen this technique a lot. This is my take. Me, my wife, and my new daughter Rebekah.

I shot this using the timer function on my camera. I was really

pleased with the outcome, due to the fact that I was shooting blind.

All of this was guess work. Thoughts and opinions welcome.

Very sweet and touching moment captured! Pretty good for a "chance" shot! I'm sure this one will be printed and hung up on your wall! Congrats on Rebekah's birth.

Kindest regards and greetings from Victoria, Canada~ Iren

I have seen the technique used a lot. I believe that some of the most well known photographs like this were created by Ann Geddes. I saw something similar, and very well done, by Sasha Gaer; another PDN member. My wife saw an Ann Heche shot like this at the ultrasound clinic that we went to, and she has been bugging me to hire someone to do a shot like this. HA! What did I spend all of that money on a camera for? I set the timer function on the camera, checked my lighting, and I was off, running back and forth across the living room trying to get this shot. And after a few hours of missed shots, a whole lot of screaming baby, and even some pee, I was able to create the images that you see here. Thank you all for taking the time to view it, and leave some feedback. I truly appreciate it.

Brandon.
