dfpoon 0 Posted July 11, 2002 I think this one is quite successful. It reflexs the thought in my mind -- "What is real?" this unanswered question. Can camera/photo tell us sth about that? Please feel me to give me any comment. Link to comment
dead fish 0 Posted July 14, 2002 hmm... this is a common idea, but what this photo is missing is that there is no vivid colors, plain gray sky, and small waves on the water are making this picture more blurry than strange. My suggestions: pick a sunny day. But this might ruin the mood. So better yet, pick a very slow slide film (Velvia at 50?). This would yield you better tones. If it is raining, consider much longer exposure to compensate for raindrops on the water, so you get a smooth painting-like texture, not nasty ripples. Also, consider slightly different framing - I don't think it is really necessary to show the "real" bridge, even if it makes a funny effect, the difference between those two worlds actually hurts the image.
