Receiving such glowing praise from a Garden Architecture is phenomenal, many thanks! I went to your portfolio and fell in love with your work especially the sections on Warsaw and of course your Landscape photos. For the record I think your Flower photos truly stunning and some of the best on PN. Thank you again for your comments they made my day.

Receiving your kind praise from such a beautiful gal from St. Louis is a real treat for this old poop! Thank you, you have made my day. BTW, your current work on PN entitled "Wooden Canoe on Seabrook Lake" is truly wonderful 7/7. Thank you again for your kind comments.

I've been snooping through your HDR folder and I love your work, the compositions are the perfect subjects for this unique style of transformation. I'd love to learn how to do HDR's but I use Elements for my editing program and I don't like spending time on this damn contraption.....but I do love the whole digital realm of photography, the possibilities for creativity are limitless. I think a lot of my imagey would work well as HDR's. I also noticed your penchant for old cars, you should check out Shawn Shahan's site, he's been my guest out here several times and he loves shooting the old wrecked cars and trucks on the neighboring ranches. Your proficiency as a photographer and in the post processing is very apparent, good eye for detail and love the colors here.

Susan receiving comments from someone as talented as you means a whole bunch to this guy in Detroit. For the record, your work is very, very special. Your obvious artistic talents and exceptional creativity leap out from each of your works. My horse manure computer has reached it's the final days of life expectancy what with it's productivity and speed being too painful to sit in front of while listening to the whir of something or other inside. Therefore, I appreciate your resistance to sit before a glorified night light plugged into the wall. Thanks so much for your glowing praise of my HDR's. Finally, if you can tie your shoes you can shoot HDR especially with all your artistic talents!

PS

Happy New Year to you and your family

Oh ya, I went looking here on P/N and then on Google for a Shawn Shahan's but came up with zilch? Does he shoot under an alias or a mysterious nom de plume? Or have I mess up your directions?

Just look at about any of my images and you should see a comment by Shawn, click on his name and it'll take you to his site. Or look at my home page where it says commented on photos and you should see a recent reference to one of his images and click on that and away you go. I left him a suggestion he look up your old car folder too. Another "friend" of mine who you might enjoy is David Meyer, all three of you gentlemen are so intelligent and articulate that I think you'll enjoy each others exchanges here on PN. Happy New Year (oh my gosh where did 2007 go) to you and yours. My family is long grown and raising one's of their own so I "Blissfully" live with my old dog in the middle of nowhere.....life is good.

Susan it seems to me that the two people I know way out west in MT land are "blissfully" grounded and well spoken. It seems to me that many Montanans have an apparent gift for photography along with a real grasp of "the meaning of life". I have an old friend who emigrated to the southwest corner of your state from MI via Hawaii. Norman is his name and he is truly a wonderful photographer. I plan to e-mail him and suggesting he take a look-see through your amazing portfolio.
