tmjacobs 0 Posted November 9, 2007 Stitched from 11 HDR images: 9 in a 3x3 grid and 2 extra for the center top and bottom, so 11x3=33 photos were taken for this. This cloister is built at the north of Canterbury cathedral so it didn't catch any sunlight - at least not when I was there. So the mood was somewhat sombre. Comments welcome, please view the large version, thanks. Link to comment
theodeby 0 Posted November 14, 2007 Theo, what a miraculous effect has come out of the semi darkness you say to have experienced while taking this picture. Of course you always choose the right angle, and the colours and light that emerge from your 33 pictures, by skillfully applying the HDR technique are absolutely wonderful. celasun 0 Posted November 19, 2007 Very efficient and effective use of the HDR technique. It is almost like being there... I cannot say whether I prefer this or the B&W one; both very nice. Link to comment

Margo_Wade11664880111 0 Posted June 17, 2009 Theo, this is one of the photos in your gallery that I like best because of its composition, textures, exposure control and delicate colours. Thanks for sharing, Margo. Link to comment
