stefano_truzzi 0 Posted October 16, 2007 I like the framing and the way the sunset light make it "alive". Very nice shot Alex (I see that Mr. 3/3 likes your shots also... he's always there) Link to comment
gnashings 5 Posted October 16, 2007 INteresting crop - it actually works. And I do agree the light is interesting. Usually the undersides of airplanes... well, you know as well as I do how that usually looks. This is a good capture - yet not one of your strongest. I suppose that is a compliment to your body of work rather than a knock on this particular picture. Link to comment
stefano_truzzi 0 Posted October 17, 2007 There is no noise at all, usually on this kind of picture you have some noise and this is more evident due to the regular color of the background; The details are great, if you see it larger you can count the bolts. The light which make the front part of the fuselage shining in contrast of the dark - but not too dark - of the rear part is really beautiful. The framing works really well. A so clear close up is rare to see. Those are the reasons for the compliment and the 6/6. Have a nice day :o) Link to comment
alex_kew 0 Posted October 18, 2007 Thanks for the kind feedback. Best thing about the Autumn show at Duxford is the chance of some real nice lighting on the planes from the setting sun. I've just dug out another taken shortly after this, that personally, I prefer. I'll post it for your critique shortly. Cheers, Alex. Link to comment
