aepelbacher 0 Posted October 14, 2007 These guys were really going at it ... and their horns knocking into each other made a sound that you could probably hear for a half mile. They had a great time ... until some of the older males came over and pushed them apart. It was a lot of fun to watch. Thoughts? Link to comment

aepelbacher 0 Posted October 16, 2007 Good to "see" you here Linda! :-) Yes, that's exactly what I was thinking ... and teenaged boys will be teenaged boys! :-) Link to comment
bertr 0 Posted October 24, 2007 This is a great shot of two adult Impala sparring, either for space or for the sheer fun of it. The size and curvature of their horns make me believe that they are no longer in the adolescent stage. Photographically speaking this makes of course absolutely no difference....it's a great freeze action shot...congratulations...Bert Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted October 24, 2007 Thanks again for your visit, Bert. The only reason I thought these were adolescents is because the other males nearby (the ones who stopped the fight!) were bigger and had horns a bit longer.... Link to comment
