I checked them out Lutz, It's interesting to me what a motion picture director finds interesting in a still. I think you have a different perspective which is useful to someone making still photographs. I'll probably look at your portfolio here differently just because of your backround. The making of movies have always been interesting to me. I have a nephew who attened a school for cinema & his still photographs are a little more interesting also.

Hmm, I guess what I'm instinctively reacting to (or looking for) in stills is storytelling (condensing a situation in one frame), drama (capturing tension, conflict between the elements in a picture) and mystery.

BTW, how is your B&W printing doing? Did you set up a darkroom, ultimately?

Nah, My darkroom is still on hold. I'm still in the kitchen. & the closet, but thanks for asking.
