jim_trombley 0 Posted October 11, 2007 Your photos make me wish I was back in Tuscany with my fratello (brother) who's family has adopted my wife and I as their own. We look forward to our next visit (in 2008) and hope to continue our exploration of the Tuscan country side from their home in Pistoia and their Osteria in Florence (only a few blocks from the Ponte Vecchio shown in this image). Thank you for the posting. Link to comment
kareng 0 Posted October 11, 2007 Jim, The photos make me wish I were back there too. This was my first trip anywhere outside of North America. We stayed in Rome, Chianti and Venice. It was magnificent. I didn't want to leave. Karen Link to comment
jcpopper 0 Posted October 12, 2007 I'm working backwards through your posts. This is beautiful with great clarity and light. A lovely shot. Regards... Link to comment
mvisionphotography 1 Posted October 12, 2007 Of course SCOTTLAND is first. But boy you did a great job with this. Really looks like some of the paintings. Well done! Link to comment
kareng 0 Posted October 12, 2007 Thanks.. I'm glad you liked it. Scotland is high on my list of places to go as well. I've heard it is beautiful. Florence was fantastic. A bit crowded the day we were there, the lines for the Uffizi were rather long, but well worth the wait. Didn't get a chance to see the real David in the Accademia though, so it's on my list of reasons to go back. Glad you liked this one! Karen Link to comment
