joanbn 0 Posted November 4, 2007 As Rashed said, nothing to critique. It's beautiful. Link to comment
Not Here 93 Posted November 4, 2007 A really beautiful capture of this series of falls! Could do with a little less frame (and web sites) though, sort of distracting. Great shot!! Link to comment
lizweisiger 0 Posted November 4, 2007 Michael, personally, I do not like seeing the framing piece. I think it distracts from the image. In this case, you have a beautiful stream - very delicate and soft. I would like to see it with out the busy framing. Regards, liz Link to comment
egriffiii 0 Posted November 4, 2007 I also agree about the frame. Great composition but the DOF seems a little short for my taste. Link to comment
zigzag 0 Posted November 4, 2007 The photograph is nicely cropped, is from a good viewpoint and has a good shutter duration. The red dirt distracts a little and the greens maybe could come up a bit - in PS you can adjust these channels individually in Hue/Sat (Ctrl-U) which (if you don't already), is something worth just looking at for interest's sake. I am wodering about the far DOF and the f-stop you used. Link to comment
lmcinnis37 0 Posted November 4, 2007 I agree with Glen. Just for kicks, I reversed the image to get a left-to-right perspective. I think I like it better, (but then it is not the actual scene). I cloned in the dark, wet stones over the red sandy area. The result was an improvement, in my opinion. Still a very nice image. The writing on the frame didn't bother me, but leaving it off wouldn't hurt the image, either. Author's choice, I suppose. Link to comment
