hopsage 0 Posted October 8, 2007 A pre-dawn hike up above Camp Lake (high saddle of South + MiddleSisters), to an unnamed tarn. Almost all the winter snow melt wasgone lower down, but up here, there were still last remnants of Winter. Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted October 9, 2007 These waves of ice are quite compelling. Your capture removes some orienting features in the landscape and leaves a somewhat abstract representation, which I think is quite effective. Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted October 28, 2007 A truly beautiful image - Jeff said it better than I could. Link to comment
leo burkey 0 Posted July 25, 2008 This is so well done; The ice appears to be flowing right out of the frame. Very very well composed! Link to comment
charliemastrovich 0 Posted August 19, 2008 If you put this among a group of photo's by Ansel Adams I doubt if anyone would say it wasn't his. Stunning job and I hope this is hanging in a favorite spot in your home. 7/7 Charlie Link to comment
hopsage 0 Posted August 19, 2008 Thank you, Charlie (and belatedly: Jeff, Tony, and Leo). Actually, no, I've never printed it, though I hope to get access to a wet darkroom again soon. My printing chops are so rusty by this point that it would probably take me forever to get this looking the way I want. Link to comment
