Road to Nirvana

At sunrise Buddhist monks would go out on a daily routine of receiving

alms from the laypeople. This photograph was taken in Luangprabang,

Laos of young men in monkhood in their journey towards the highest

spiritual attainment, Nirvana.

Very interesting subject and composition. Love the diagonal orientation, color. Great perspective--I hope that I'd think to take this photo. The shallow depth of field in the foreground could be better focused, but at the same time it gives the sense of depth to the photo.
