I don't think this is supposed to be a novelty shot, but it really makes me smile.

More usefully, the almost-even geometry of the grate is very nicely offset by those three shoes. The color cast above the frosted glass is quite pretty.

Have you considered some perspective correction to make the grate dead-square? I'm not sure that it "improves" your image at all, but I think it does give a different feel, eliminating some of the mild jarring effect of your image. That effect works, actually, and it is a nice juxtaposition with the calming effect of the color cast. Consider the attached image an alternate take, then.
