Nice capture he is sharp and clear, maybe just a little dark for some people but I like him.

Thanks for you comment on my "Hard Times Ahead" shot. I really enjoy the drama of this shot, and I think the high contrast between the elk and the background adds to it. The elk is deadly sharp, which is super. Great capture! I'd be tempted to crop it vertically so that the elk is centered vertically, to make it more about the texture of his fur, and the shape of his rack. Another interesting experiment would be to desaturate the colors, possibly all the way to make a black and white shot. These are just ideas... the shot is super as is.
