ewert02 0 Posted October 2, 2007 Great shot, Martin. The light and drama in the sky is great. Link to comment

josylvestre 0 Posted October 5, 2007 What exposure time ? Why there is no star trails ? This is a wonderful photo, congratulation ! Link to comment
martin eliassen 0 Posted October 5, 2007 Thank you all for nice comments! The shutter is 20 sec @ 17mm. That's why there are no star trails. Link to comment
marcelsuciu 0 Posted November 13, 2007 I think I would have named this image content "Aurora Borealis." It's quite amazingly unique. You were there at the right time taking the right shot, but undoubtadely your skill is being reflected in the superb image through content composition, lighting. I do see just a little bit of star trails so I imagine that it wasn't a 30 minute exposure, but neither a 30 second exposure. Maybe 2-5 minutes. Let me know about this... I'm quite curious to see if my guess was correct. The colors are beautifully displayed. Did you manipulate anything in Photoshop? Great job. Awesome image! Make sure you submit this image to some magazines for credit and publishing. Marcel Link to comment
stupski 0 Posted November 14, 2007 I imagine you've done quite a few of these, but this one is absolutely stunning. Colors are incredibly beautiful, sharpness is perfect, and it has the most sublime feel in the scene. Wonderful work! Link to comment
