Pan F in DiafineThe scan is of the actual print, which toasted the highlights. The print has a nice glow with detail in the whites.

I don't usually shoot flowers. I think they are rather boring, and

this is no exception for me, BUT I like the glow I got from this

particular film/developer. The print held highlight detail very

well, this is a scan of the actual print. I think I had a +3 closeup

lens attached to my 50mm lens. Pan F in Diafine. EI: 50.

If you think flowers are rather boring, why even take images of them, and why waste our time by putting them uo for critique and ratings??

Hmmm... I sense hostility. I find them boring, yes. Boring because I find them cliche. (most of the time) I find most flower shots to be the same old, seen it before type shot, etc...I find it difficult to be original when shooting flowers.

I shot this as more of a film test, doing some bracketing on a tripod, no flash, lit from above with my kitchens' recessed light. I found the glow to be interesting and was just wondering what others thought.

I apologize if I wasted your time.

What happened here, is your flower was the first one that came up when I went to critique flowers. Early morning and all, not yet had my first cupper. All I do is flower photography, and perhaps I am just sensitive. On re-reading my comment, it is inappropriate, I should have just moved on to the next image, so what I am saying here, is it is I who should make the apology not you. Sorry! All the best to you.........roger
