chrisalmerini 0 Posted October 1, 2007 Noise is present in the sky especially along with Keystoning of the lighthouse. Good exposure of rocks and white lighthouse...I have visited Cape Nedick Light in early spring, I think the composition could have been improved by featuring the water between shore and thelighthouse since this is an island. Really just my opinion. I shot several shots at low tide along the rocks below the parking lot somewhat to the right. It appears from the noise you cropped and enlarged so of this out. petersh 0 Posted October 1, 2007 Thanks for the comments. There is noise in the sky. Its from another shot altogether and was cropped down. Chris, thanks for the comment on the perspective. This shot was taken directly from the parking lot across from the island. During high tide there is not much more of the water I could get in because of the position. I didn't crop out the position you speak of, which I think is exposed only during low tide. I'm not sure there is much keystoning of the lighthouse, it is after all tapered and when I look at the house next to it there is little to speak of. This is a obviously cliched subject. But alas, I like it. I am something of a Maine fan (as you can se from other shots I've posted). Thanks again for the comments. Link to comment
