Its like Norman Rockwell meets Ned Devine! What can one say, staged or otherwise, who cares, this is superb. An easy 7/7

Has any of you watched movies and serials based on the Stephen King's novels? I'm asking because it reminds of some scenes that expressed isolated places far away from the towns; poor wooden houses, an old man who tells strange stories, and similar themes.

I believe it's everyday's death in front of the TV screen that happens unfortunately even to young kids.Inspired title, certainly not funny, but i'm afraid, true. The very witty usage of the light creates a curious, balanced photo and the hue is attractive.I suppose you worked on it.Best wishes.

Love the textures - the carpet, the wooden floor, wallpaper, radiator, the doily. Even the rug under the TV. Light from the TV seems a little too sharp and white - although I doubt the guy would be able to afford a colour TV :D

To Barry Fischer's comment about it being a cartoon - so what? Cartoons throughout history have been one of the most potent and successful tools for conveying the entire spectrum of human experience, and not necessarily just for humour. I would count this "cartoon-photograph" as a much more layered and sophisticated expression of a moment in a life (and all that has preceded it) than out-of-focus motion-challenged upskirt snaps.

Great job Alex.

Colors are vibrant and the ambience is too much attracting; the contrast alongwith the rendition is excellent; Keep it going & make us feel great pal!
