Life Through The Hole In A Polo

petemillis

Taken through the hole in a polo that I held in front of the lens. It's amazing how much you can see through the hole in the middle. This is just a face, but I captured a whole Volvo dumper truck in another polo!

This was taken through the hole in the middle of a Polo mint that I

just held in front of the lens. i'm in the middle of doing a hole

load of these holy images at the moment. Any comments of suggestions

much appreciated.

Cheers

Very cool idea Pete. I might have cropped in a bit tighter to loose the sky on the left side. Oddly enough I've been approaching something a bit similar myself today and just put one up for critique, using lawn grass instead of a polo. It should be coming down the tube shortly. Cheers Gord

Cheers Gordon. I'll keep a look out for yours! I just tried the closer crop and I think you might be right you know. It seems to work well.

I've been shaking plants about today as well - this seemed quite effective as it retained a fairly stationary background but with motion in the berries creating a fruit burst type effect, as opposed to movement appearing in the whole image. I also twisted the Seven Sisters...those cliffs on the south coast of England. I've just put the pic into "A Bit Odd" folder.

Thanks again.

I'll take a look and get back to you. The plant idea sounds interesting. I have a few bur images I've shot on very windy days in the forest. The trees of course remain still but the branches and even more so the leaves flutter about and become blurred. Once you head down this road the ideas just keep flooding in. Glad to have a friend along for the journey.

I probably would like it more if cropped at the bottom more but regardless I am totally just focused on her face and how it calls me to her eyes. Really wild.
