bretsch 0 Posted September 30, 2007 This forms part of a series essays in color and composition I?ve being doing with some pictures I took of The NY Gugenheim; your comments are highly appreciated, thank you! Link to comment
ani_a. 0 Posted September 30, 2007 I think this is a beautiful photo. The only negative for me is that shape in lower center. It's a little distracting. Link to comment
godfather 0 Posted September 30, 2007 I like this more than the b/w version which you posted earlier. Maybe cause this has more powerful POV and composition. Very good piece. Best rgs Tero. Ps. How much Post process did you do on this? Link to comment
bretsch 0 Posted October 1, 2007 Thank you for your kind comments, as a personal rule I try not to do anything that couldn't been done on a dark room, the picture you see here was not an exception to that rule, however it has extensive post processing: I played a lot with color correction, color temperature, and sharpness. I'm glad you've found the result interesting. Link to comment
godfather 0 Posted October 1, 2007 Thats what i like, when a true vision is captured in the making of a photo, like you did in this. I was so certain that this had some sort of fisheye play in the photoshop cause the admeasurements looks so different than the b/w version. Thanks for explaining. Link to comment
bretsch 0 Posted October 1, 2007 .....actually this is a different picture from the B&W I posted earlier. Thanks again for your interest and comments. Link to comment
lizweisiger 0 Posted October 3, 2007 I really enjoy looking at this. I love the color tones - the red is so brilliant and that dab of the purple is a nice foil Plus the symmetry blends it all together. Regards, liz Link to comment

lennartmaschmeyer 0 Posted October 4, 2007 Great picture juan carlos! Powerful composition with the organic expanding lines leading to the hint of rational reality provided by the roof window. Fantastic colours as well. Congratulations, Lennart Link to comment
younes 0 Posted October 22, 2007 Love this shot! Great comp, the use if the curves is simply brilliant. Great colours as well. I find the object in the freground slightly distracting but not enough to ruin the shot. Link to comment
