mvisionphotography 1 Posted October 6, 2007 I am so thrilled with my first attempt and capture of a spider this last week that NOW every spider I see on PN I go "LOOK" another spider. YEAH! This one is special because of the shadow. This one is cool because he/she (what are they called) is about to fall because that web looks tangled. I love the angle that you have taken it and bit of dof I see to the right. Link to comment
dseltzer 0 Posted October 6, 2007 Micki, Thanks for looking and commenting. For me, spider shots are opportunistic, and this one just appeared one day on our shed... haven't seen her/him since. These spiders (maybe they all are?) seem naturally dramatic because of their size, length and their bold coloring. I hoping to find one this Fall (or any time, really) in the middle of one of the huge webs they often build. Then I can "work it over" and hope at least one image comes out well. Glad you like this one. Regards, David Link to comment
mvisionphotography 1 Posted October 7, 2007 I now know all those places. Only thing is I don't want to get the same shot so my friend Dennis says put somethng in there for them to eat. So I have to do that. YEP! Link to comment
shots worth sharing 1 Posted July 12, 2010 Just super, David! Did I mention that I hate spiders? ;~) Link to comment
dseltzer 0 Posted July 20, 2010 Thanks! Didn't know you and spiders were on the outs, but I do know you're far from alone! Scary, creepy, dangerous, or whatever, I think we're programmed to perceive them as menacing, and they do a good job of playing along! (-; Link to comment
