bramadan 0 Posted October 1, 2007 Love your portraits, would be very interested to see the "original" shot, but in any case great work. Link to comment
gerfoy3 0 Posted October 2, 2007 Wow such a wonderful happy moment and a great shot. The colours and DOF are perfect. Can I ask where you focused and what the DOF were? Ger.. Link to comment
jcpopper 0 Posted October 2, 2007 I shot this at f/5 and focused, as I recall, on the area across their eyes. This version is cropped from a somewhat larger image. Thanks for your comment. Regards... Link to comment

photodonn 0 Posted October 3, 2007 Joseph, I like your brighter version better. Glam shots are great, I'm all for them, but showing the freckles is better here, imo! One technique is not best for every image... you can use glam tricks later. This one is just about ideal, in fact the _only_ thing I would do differently is darken the hair in the far left corner. That bright spot brings your eye away from the subjects, and it would be easy to change. Do that and it's a 7/7 if you ask me. Great job!!!! Link to comment
doug_gentry 0 Posted October 4, 2007 Evening Joseph, I was stopping by to see your latest and BAM!!! WOW! The eyes in this capture are full and life and color! You truly grabbed the moment! By the way.... I love the skin tone and freckles the way they are! I would not change a thing! Excellent Real Life moment! Doug Link to comment
jcpopper 0 Posted October 4, 2007 Thank you both. I left it as is, freckles, sunburns and all, 'cause that's what these young women look like. Best regards... Link to comment
