single photos Office Lighting Products for Catalogue

I took this for an office lighting catalogue.

I know it's not exciting but any feedback would be good.

As a commercial photo for it's intended purpose it looks pretty good to me: sharp & well composed. The apples seem a bit incongruous but provide a bit of color which is otherwise lacking. It looks like something from an office lighting products catalog.

I guess my strongest reaction, though, is that the two figures should change places. Given the general blandness of the (well-lit) setting, the viewer is drawn to the figures and their implicit relationship which is screamingly "Leave it to Beaver" sexist.

As to lighting, it strikes me that the main light source we see is the window and I can only imagine you had to flood the scene from your side with light to counteract that.
