root 0 Posted August 4, 2002 I now appreciate the talent and skill that went into this shot. Like so many others, I went right past it many times because I was sure it was photoshop. We all pay a price when too many 'photographers' do not care about truth in their images. Link to comment
matt miller cambridge, ia 0 Posted January 3, 2003 I must comment here to give you 7's. This is fantastic. You are obviously very talented, as well as lucky. Link to comment
neild 1 Posted January 17, 2003 Wow, this is fantastic (I think it must be a while since you put this on). I have a similar one, didn't realise so many people managed to get this kind of image! Link to comment
alex_lofquist 2 Posted August 2, 2003 While the tecnology of a lunar landing is mature, one group was going to attempt a solar landing. The way that they planned to avoid the conflagration was to land at night! Link to comment
mealey 0 Posted March 2, 2005 Absolutely incredible image. Is this without any PS manipulation? If it is then it deserves 7's all round.........brilliant! Link to comment

jeffrey moore 0 Posted October 9, 2006 This is a great shot Thierry. I've just spent the last hour viewing all the images on your website, and I have to say you are very good at your craft. I especially like the shot of the International Space Station transiting across the sun. Fantastic! I've begun to develop an interest in astrophotgraphy myself over the past year or so, and I don't think the average photographer understands or appreciates the difficulty in attaining the shots you have captured. Keep up the good work. Link to comment
nick_wilson2 0 Posted October 10, 2006 Wild! It shows we are intruding everywhere though...Let's leave some bits unsullied and unmilaterised, like Antartica, the oceans and space for a start. Link to comment
albertzablit 0 Posted March 6, 2007 A one of a kind marvel for me. All the props in the world Thierry! Z. Link to comment
ksargent 0 Posted March 6, 2007 Extraordinary shot. While I am a fan of astrophotography, it is not very often that I see this kind of originality. Most are happy (justifiably so) to simply get a good shot of astronomical objects; this photograph takes it to an entirely different level. 7/7 Ken Link to comment
joekonz 0 Posted March 6, 2007 Not sure I can add much more to what's already been said, but I did want to salute this shot. I'm in awe. I'm now very curious about the equipment, the setup and the mechanics involved. Thanks for including equipment details in your info. I just need to check it out. Link to comment
blue-skyworks 0 Posted March 6, 2007 Great shot and good timing. I have yet to see this any time I view the moon. I can't wait to add such a snap to my personal collection. Link to comment
