mvisionphotography 1 Posted September 27, 2007 What you are missing is my silly CHOP CHOP and you didn't put this in HUMOR!! (sigh) They miss HUMOR in HUMOR. Nobody ever puts anything funny in HUMOR! I hate it. Actually nobody has a sense of humor here on PN! See, here is the deal. You are supposed to rate a picture on how good it is. I love the fact that you got your camera down at eye level to the bugs and then you told a story. I love the DOF and I love that you made it original. I love the whole thing. Personally. I would have done it myself. :) In face I might do it. Where is a roach when you need it? Link to comment
kareng 0 Posted September 27, 2007 Micki.. glad you liked it. I thought about putting it in humor but I put this one in humor and it didn't get seen as much as my other ones. Got some crappy 3/3's too, which irked me. ;)-Karen Link to comment
gordonjb 10,860 Posted September 28, 2007 Very clever and creative composition, I really like the narrow depth of field. The horizontal line on the wall as well as the one vertical line are a nice touch to the composition. It took a keen eye to spot this little passion play. Do not let yourself be irked by any low ratings, a lot of people around here would not know a good image if it came up and bit them on the ass!! Link to comment
kareng 0 Posted September 28, 2007 I really appreciate your kind comments. It's good to know there are people here who will appreciate my quirky sense of humor. Your dogs are beautiful, btw. I'm jealous. Karen Link to comment
reginaldbarras 0 Posted October 17, 2007 a dead spider and june bug.??? i dont get the humor, please tell me?? Link to comment
kareng 0 Posted October 17, 2007 Well.. the title of the shot is where the humor gets tied in. Star-crossed Lovers... spider and beetle fall in love.. but the beetle family and the spider family won't allow it (a la Romeo and Juliet?) It's just funny, I don't know how to explain it... maybe I should get Micki over here. She could probably explain it.-K Link to comment
