mbpixel 0 Posted September 22, 2007 This is a 30 second exposure. Viewed much larger, the slipway can beseen dissapearing into the distance under the water. Please comment. Cheers Mike Link to comment

pascalagneray 0 Posted September 24, 2007 Pretty good title. I love the color and texture of the stone and the sky is truly hellish. What is helping your picture a lot and is not as noriceable is the reflective quality of the ocean which picks up a bright cloud unseen in your picture and especially the red of the sunset. It's beautiful (and closer to heaven than hell in my book) Link to comment
regis 0 Posted September 24, 2007 Very nice shot Mike The foreground "element" works great here The sky part is a bit too dark to my taste - but it's just a minor flaw. All in all it is very eye-catching Cheers, Piotr Link to comment
mbpixel 0 Posted September 25, 2007 Thanks for the comments Pascal and Piotr. Yes the sky was quite bright behind. I used 2 ND grads together .6 and .9 to bring the sky in line with the slipway, I sometimes get carried away with the grads and pile them up. I used a polariser too whic would have given another stop or two. Cheers Mike Link to comment
