laurentlacoste 0 Posted September 21, 2007 This is a wonderful picture. I love the colour treatment. The orange is gorgeous. They make me think of extraterrestrials from the 1977 movie by Steven Spielberg "Third Type Encounters". Too bad for them they have been sold. They look so sad gazing at the infinite! Link to comment

cherlyn 1 Posted September 22, 2007 Very funny, Amal, your short write up of the title. Their expression make me laugh. A lighthearted shot that lifts one's spirits. Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted September 23, 2007 I saw this yesterday and was going to comment on it but I really didn't know what to say. It's such an odd picture, bizarre, and yet in some ways very personal. It almost feels like you know these two. Oohh, that's scary thought! Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted September 23, 2007 I agree with Jack, bizarre faces and title... Amal, but I like the light , the BG, and the enigmatic whole ;-)) Link to comment

sallycd 0 Posted September 23, 2007 A.K., are these carved in wood or made ofclay? I like this... must be antique. sally Link to comment
amalsircar 2 Posted September 24, 2007 Many thanks for your feedback. I went to a Shopping Mall ,where I spotted them while window-shopping. They reminded me of "The Hobbit".I took permission from the Shop Assistant and shot them. I felt as if they are helpless & praying with folded hands "Please spare us". Jack, has felt that " personal" touch. Sally, these were sculpted in wood. Link to comment
daily_photograph 0 Posted September 25, 2007 A narrow path concerning the embedding/relation (in)to the background - but I think it works, you succesfully mediated the atmosphere! Link to comment
