I like the visual story being told here, with motion against stillness, black juxtaposed with white, all surrounded by texture and context. It reaches out.

After reading fred's comment I start to appreciate this photo. nice work.

I find this picture oddly touching, even though there is nothing remotely sentimental about it. The sand just seems so all embracing; it doesn't care whose foot leaves an impression in its surface.

I love the juxtaposition on this and tone of the two but the sense of motion

Strange photo (in a good way).

This image stopped me for sure - the best images ask a question and allow us to fill in the details - this does it for me, as well as being well executed.  Nice work.
