Guest Guest Posted September 19, 2007 The way you've framed this is masterful, Laurent. Often less is more, and this image is a good example of that. Great color as well. The chrome sparkles and the yellow gleams. Excellent image. Link to comment
laurentlacoste 0 Posted September 19, 2007 Thank you very much Matthias. I'm having fun digging up former posts and already old photographs. Link to comment
john pearson 0 Posted September 19, 2007 I like the shadows and the way the bumper blends into the black.I would perfer to see the center ornament a little brighter only because in the 50's everything was chromed-out and its too wonderful of an ornamant not to be seen by others. Congrades great job. Link to comment
laurentlacoste 0 Posted September 19, 2007 John, thanks for stopping by and commenting. Your suggestion sounds like a very good idea. I think I'll try to brighten that ornament and post the improved version. Link to comment

laurent_jaussi 0 Posted September 20, 2007 Composition, color, chrome.....seems the beast is next to me and not a photograph...what a crisp and clarity you achieve here....simply superb...I wanted to rate it a bit higher actually (7 aesth, 6 original) but I am not allowed as you've been too generous with me...never mind I don't think rate is the most important anyway....for me the most important is that I enjoyed your image very much...and no rate could really express that.... laurentlacoste 0 Posted September 20, 2007 Laurent, thank you so much. You're too good. Those old Buicks and Cads were really impressive weren't they? Thanks again for your very nice comment. Link to comment
