Didn't you run this image up the flagpole the other day; is this different, or the same one? Nice composition, Anish, and wonderful colors in the chamisa. The yellow helps balance out the empty blue of the 'Curse of the Sierras.' Good work, Amigo. Cheers! Chris

you're right, Chris. i did put this up yesterday, but that version was somewhat raw and i realized later there were some adjustments i wanted to make.

 

i applied curves to bring the foreground flowers out a bit, added a little vignet around the image and boosted the overall contrast. this is more what i had visualized when taking the image.
