personal 'take' on growing up in humble origins can be seen here if

Beautiful composition in this shot. I miss a bit of depth in the black and white (too much gray), maybe work with levels a bit. Great shot.

Pardon me as I wax eloquent. Cool!!! This is like Escher-light. I keep following the curve of the street up and down, up and down, like running a visual toy car in my head. This shot has a lot of motion implied by the way you captured it. You do such an effective job at these wide-angle shots. Applause and cheers.

There is a huge amount of motion in this shot, that is certain. I enjoy the way you have caught both uphill and downhill, and the shape of the building in this street. Truly wonderful work. Congratulations.

Doc, You do not disappoint. May I ask where this is? I'm headed to the UK in March and I'm looking for places to visit.

Don't do Bargoed, it is grim! If you going to Wales go to Port Merion.

 

Visit London, it is a great city and King Tut is here in November and the terracotta warriors are already on display. I'd do Edinburgh as well, it's really pretty.

Reminds me of a little spot in the town of Charlton. We walked all the way up the hill from the train station to find a pub with Charlton fans before the match with Bristol.
