For once I agree that this picture should be at the top. A reason for it is that I was able to enjoy it at a scale that reveals the eye patterns, LARGE! is good. Thank you for offering larger. The color of the water is unusual and I think it's perfect. The only thing that could be better is the focus on the nostrils but the eyes are the best part by a long shot so it's no big deal.

I have no idea how you were able to get this perspective. I have photographed gators, but this is outstanding! A bit too close for my comfort. Congrats.

I shoot here in south Florida also. Please send me your 70-200 IS, because it is capturing some unbelievable images (I'm sure your talent has something to do with it also ... so send it over also).
