kasey wilson 0 Posted September 13, 2007 A submission for the Song Title Club. Inspired by the song title "The Pretender" by the Foo fighters. Thanks for looking! :) KW If you are interested in joining our club, please visit http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=6152042 Link to comment

kasey wilson 0 Posted September 15, 2007 Hey Sterling! Haven't we gone through the "Of course I don't mind your edit!" before? LOL! But, I can't see it very well! Do you have it bigger? I can see you took the edge off the hair... You know that fuzzy stuff that grows on things left underwater? That's what I was going for! Any suggestions? Ellis, thank you! Still learning PS as I go! ;) Anakin, thanks! This is my youngest daughter! She was playing in the bathtub and I 'saw' this image. :) Cherlyn, thank you! I'm sort of obsessed with mermaids... :) Bob, wow! What a compliment!! Thanks so much!! :D Link to comment
eyeseeyou 0 Posted September 15, 2007 Oops sorry only saved @ 200KB file since i knew I'd be uploading. You could still go into P.S. and view larger. All I did was use a combination of clone and blur Kasey.Nice work though and you'll get better.I guess I've become lazy in PS and don't submit PS images . jeffl7 0 Posted September 21, 2007 I've returned to this photo a couple times. I keep thinking how much my little girl would love this on her wall. She's in that princess/mermaid/Dora stage of life. The colors and "flowing quality" of the capture are well done. I love the little glowing seahorse--a nice touch. Very sweet! Is this your little one? Link to comment
mvisionphotography 1 Posted September 21, 2007 I think a post proccessing work is never done and as time goes by you will always find something that you can go AHA I can tweek this or tweek that. This is just beautiful!! Wonderful and amazing. Having had the honor of seeing it up close for an hour I feel I know her so well. Didn't want to influence it to early so I come back here to make sure it goes OVER the 6/6 mark by giving it 7's ;) ~ it deserves higher as it takes days to do this sort of work!! ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! Now go get your name out there and make $200 a pop doing other kids babies ;) ~ YES! I am serious ;) Link to comment
kasey wilson 0 Posted September 21, 2007 LOL!! I do appreciate the time you spent helping me with this image, Micki! You are absolutely right about the 'aha' moments, I've had a couple of those already. :) My parents went to Vegas, and while there they had one of those 'paste your heads on fantasy bodies' images done. It's horrid! You can see the green from the chromakey screen all around their heads. And yet, they paid a good bit for it! Amazing! Link to comment
rogerleekam 0 Posted September 23, 2007 A beautiful and very original composition. The colors and feel are excellent. My taste is not generally towards software generated images, but I do like this very much. Link to comment

And yes, Jeff, this is my youngest daughter, Sofie. She's just learned the fun of lying on her back in the bathtub! Danielle, thank you! Don't expect this much work for every club submission! Ha! Hossein jan, mamnoon! Shoma 'I am very flattered' ro be farsi chi migin? ;) Link to comment

alibek 0 Posted September 29, 2007 Excellent touch of image, really. The layers you've merged here leave roughness on the edges-- although in this context it's an unbeatable upside. It helps to shape her out from the background; cropping and handling levels is done wonderfully. Okay this is the second truly fascinating, or I say, quite a symbolic picture since the "In the air tonight". Both yield simplicity same way as Genius within. A child, pretending for a dream come truth, has something so divine... thank you for sharing anyway. Outstanding take on this. Alibek Link to comment
hossein 0 Posted October 6, 2007 how much you've progressed in farsi. that was a surprise for me.... you can say "mano sharmandeh mikoni" for "I'm flattered". movazeb bash azizam "take care" Link to comment
