Very dramatic, only suggestion is to have the razor blade in focus as well or instead of the drain. In my opinion, this would be more dramatic. Great photo - Lex

Yes I have that kind of photos too, but I've decidet for this, because it is not so obvius what is all about. Everyone expects for razor to be in focus, I know, but...

I like this very much, I guess because I'm a little goofy that way. One would expect the razor blade to be in focus, as you said. Having it this way makes it look almost trivial to me. As if to say: no big deal, just made a mess in the sink. It makes it more disturbing to me this way. I like that. ;)

 

I have to ask, what you used for blood? It doesn't look like real blood to me. I congratulate you for not using cherry juice or anything like that. Real blood looks more like tomato juice than cherry juice. I like the desaturation around the edges too. It looks creepy. If you don't mind, I'd really like to know what you used.
