rob_fer 0 Posted September 10, 2007 Once I've come back from Alaska now it's time to share some of the stunning images I've seen and recorded with my camera. After a stormy morning, some soft light touched the denali mountain. Comments are welcome. Thanks Roberto www.paisajesdelmundo.net Link to comment
marcadamus 1 Posted September 11, 2007 Wow! Truly fantastic work here, Roberto! The background is magnificent and the foreground is one of the most complimentary I have seen from here. Allthough the background appears a little overexposed, this is used to an advantage perfectly, creating a great sense of depth accentuated even more so by the cloud layers. This is a wonderful photograph. Link to comment
amalsircar 2 Posted September 12, 2007 Landscape of incredible beauty,Roberto. Excellent composition, bery good exposure and color-contrast. Many thanks for showing us a place,"out of this world". Link to comment
Fishermang 0 Posted September 15, 2007 This is what I would call perfect landscape photography. This photo shows that boosting contrast and showing of magnificent colour isn't the ultimate approach towards landscape photography. The background is blank, and yet it creates a very special atmosphere, plays with your eyes and requires you to explore the photo, which all is a very pleasant experience. Fantastic work!! This is one of the best landscape photos I have seen here, or anywhere else on the internet last two years. It now decorates my desktop :) Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted September 17, 2007 Great shot. I have been to this spot also but I did not have those conditions. I also have an Alaska folder and would appreciate if you would tell me which one you like. Would appreciate knowing what date you took this photo. Thanks. Link to comment

leo burkey 0 Posted April 16, 2009 I think Mark said it perfectly, just outstanding with a hint of the surreal. Link to comment
doug_nelson3 0 Posted April 16, 2009 Like Ansel Adams' work, the scale is grand, but the composition is quite simple. As for any overexposure, highlights blow out all the time in what our eyes see. Is it just me, or does this scene suggest a histogram? Link to comment
martyphotoarts 0 Posted April 17, 2009 Having been on Denali myself (up to McGonegal pass when I was much younger), I know just how rare it can be to catch the mountain such beautiful light. I don't know if you were patient or just lucky - maybe a bit of both. Wonderful shot! Link to comment
richvanwart 0 Posted September 12, 2012 Another stunner from your Denali "harvest". Spectacular! Ansel would be proud! Link to comment
