Mt Shuksan, dusk

This is absolutely fantastic... The alpenglow, the lake... everything works here. It caught my attention immediately.

I was taking a look at your portfolio and I have inmediately stopped at this composition in mount Shuksan - like me, those we are not from Northamerica, would prefer some more geographical references as I do not have any idea where this mountain is - because of its very fine quality and unbeatable composition. There is no point of highlight - I refer to white colors or high light level ones - but the light orange reflections in the mountain ridge. The atmosphere looks very peaceful, close to romantic, with those trees so well defined and position, all of them in different shapes and sizes. The small shadow of fume of mist in the right side is also very nice detail. I could imagine your image could be hang in any hotel in this area and could also be painted by any local artist. Congratulations for it, and for share it with us. I love mountains anywhere, in my country they are not big ones but they are also beautiful if you have the eye - you know, the internal one - to see their natural beauty. Ikusi arte - see you.
