jerrymat 5 Posted June 28, 2002 A very nice portrait of Meghann. I like the blurred out background and the positioning of the body. The light on her face looks a little bright to me and where the light fades off across her cheek it becomes texture lighting and exaggerates the imperfections of her skin surface. Photoshop could be used to make slight corrections in contrast and skin retouching to make this into an even stronger image. Link to comment
hexenwolfe 0 Posted June 28, 2002 Portraits lit by a single side light will highlight any scars, or angularities in a face by creating shadows. This can be good for a strong face, but is not usually the best choice for a young soft face. This particular portrait has shadows beside the nose and within the eyes that do not add to the attractiveness of this woman. Link to comment
reddragonlady 0 Posted July 24, 2002 Facial tones don't seem quite right to me. Seems a bit washed out. Link to comment
mike_sea 0 Posted July 30, 2002 Nice shot Jamie. The bright side lighting seems to work well. I would suggest a slightly higher position of the lens to give a slightly more flattring chin line of the model. Mike Sea Link to comment
