Very frequently an image freezes a moment in time - but quite infrequently it tells a story. Very well done here - it is an example how much can be said with exactly 6 objects in the whole frame...I only wish it was larger - I generally prefer size larger than a large thumbprint.

Yes. It is also nice that money, subject that brings hope is lightest object. The one who is down is darkest. Subjects are well placed, BW work is very good and story evoking. No ratings, since I do not them anymore. a s l a

While this is obviously a set-piece photo, it is highly evocative, with masterful lighting, and - rare these days - a manifest (and disheartening) theme. Although human compassion is on display, the musician - a violinist, who has presumably taken years of training to master his art - is indigent, his talent displayed for for a fraction of it's value. He appears homeless, and he has suffered greatly for the pursuit of his art...yet he pursues it still. The contribution he is receiving gives some hope that mankind will put away it's weapons of war, renounce materialism, and begin exploring it's collective soul through the arts.

Simply supurb, technically and affectively. 7/7.

Craig

By the way, I have a hellish time spelling your name - I don't know why, it's pretty simple...but I'm giving you an official call sign: Vaider Raider, Vaider for short.
