Pleasing to the eye. The highlights are a bit bright. I am not sure what to make of the "added element". With the short lighting a true profile may work.

Love it. Very pleasing to the eye and the added element gives it added focus to the subject by drawing the eye to the subject. I love this photo.

I like this portrait so much...except for the frame. I find it distracting. It doesn't add anything to help me understand her or what she's thinking about. You've captured her beauty so well, but lose the frame......please.

Great portrait, but I'll have to agree with some and say the "frame" shouldn't have been added. I think it adds too much distraction around the person.

A contemporary treatment for a Modern Miss. Perhaps I might like to see the subject placed a little more to the right. That would give a larger space behind her head and better separation between her hair and the internal frame. Also the right shoulder would then be out of the corner of that frame.
