philipp_schneider 0 Posted June 27, 2002 This image has been reduced to grayscale. I like the brightness contrast in the photo, but I am a bit unhappy about the position of the moon, though. Link to comment
miles_hecker 0 Posted June 27, 2002 I like this image, but I think the sky is blocking up a little because you used a direct reduction to greyscale. It would be possible to use the PS channel mixer command and control the tone in the sky better. It reduces the R,G, and B channel seperately and let's you control the things better. Link to comment
jennings 0 Posted June 28, 2002 You can always go back and take the shot again when the moon is in the right spot! Well maybe not!! I kinda of like the dark sky. Link to comment
george andreou 0 Posted June 28, 2002 excellent contrasts, is that a double exposure or was the moon really there? Link to comment
greglyon 0 Posted June 29, 2002 I agree. A different moon position might have made it a bit nicer, but still a quite attractive shot. Link to comment
philipp_schneider 0 Posted July 1, 2002 Thanks for all the comments. George, it's neither a double exposure nor was the image photoshopped in any way besides color desaturation. The moon was really there - and it was an amazing view! Link to comment
stanton imaging 0 Posted July 2, 2002 dare i say it you could move the moon in PS. but a great shot anyway Link to comment
alex_taylor 0 Posted July 11, 2002 Beautiful! I like the positioning of the moon, it could be a tiny bit more to the left but it looks fine where it is. Link to comment
charlesshupe 0 Posted July 17, 2002 It must have been physically demanding to get to that location. I like position of the moon - the peak leads me right to it. Link to comment
