Another in the Bombay Beach series. The Salton Sea rose and gradually

buried an entire community is salty water - then decades later

receded and left these skeletons.

This image looks like it's right out of a film set for some apocalyptic movie, surreal and mysterious. Excellent lighting. I'm "dashing" around PN wishing everyone a Merry Christmas Steve, so I hope you spend yours with family and friends sharing all the goodwill and glad tidings this season brings. Hopefully our trails will cross in the New Year.

Now I know why Carl prefered this one in color - as he stated in his comment on the B&W version... Colors are great indeed. I like both versions - can' t really decide... But perhaps it would be worth trying a more brutal contrast between ground and sky, on this color version... How about this: 1) take some of the yellow away from the sky, replace it with added magenta and black in the blues and cyans (using "selective color")...? 2) If still necessary after the above was done, darken the sky a little more...?
