kslonaker 0 Posted October 15, 2007 Dennis, we're selling the country place (on six acres) to move into town. We both work in Corpus Christi so the commute is about 45 mins for me and an hour for Ed. We're having a place built that will be about a 10 minute drive to work for both of us. We'll miss the peace and quiet and wildlife, but will have lower gas bills and more free time. This place will go on the market tomorrow. Link to comment
shadow-island 0 Posted October 15, 2007 Frist, nice shot of the dragon fly! Looks like you'll be closer to the beach and those peli-shots. Port A offers some great birding oppourtunities. I have to come down next month as still have house on Padre island that is leased out. I know it will be an adustment moving into Corpus...but as you say, will reap its own rewards. Good luck, Michael Link to comment

mikepalo 0 Posted November 27, 2007 Great shot may I ask what lens you used for this was it a macro or a long zoom? I've tried shooting dragon flies with, moderate levels of success myself, with a 70-300mm. Also what were the specs on this shot? Keep it up. Im sure at your new place you will find much to photograph still. -Mike Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted November 28, 2007 Michael, I know this was my 28-105 lens, but I don't have the specs offhand. My external hard drive crashed completely and I have to go through my back-up disks to get the information. The only pictures I actually lost were Nov pictures and nothing much there. Hopefully, I can retrieve my treefrog pictures off the card again. A good reason to ALWAYS back-up every picture!!! Link to comment
thinhnguyen 0 Posted March 1, 2008 I'm not sure about the composition, but colors, sharpness, details, dof are so great. Best regards. Link to comment
