Ruben Silva 1 Posted September 2, 2007 such a beautiful place.. Tell me Roman, 1) how do I get there from Las Vegas or from the Grand canyon 2) which is the best lens angle ? 28mm? 10mm? Great capture Link to comment
jerrynmnk 0 Posted September 2, 2007 Kudos on a great shot. It looks a bit "soft" to me but I think that may work to your advantage here as it allows the colors and textures to flow together better that if it were "crisp." Also, look like you were there at a perfect time. The lighting is great Congrats,Jerry Link to comment
cphilpott 0 Posted September 2, 2007 You remind me of the need I have to go back to these places. You inspire, you encourage, you remind me of mystery and I thank you. Link to comment
guillermo calles 0 Posted September 2, 2007 excellent caught, contrast and colors are great; congrat Link to comment
pascalagneray 0 Posted September 3, 2007 This is a classical subject pushed to excellent levels. The next level would be to put a dramatic human figure in the heavenly light beam and turn down the saturation and contrast a bit, even go B&W. I say that but I am guilty on both counts on all my pictures and I wish I could have such great shots in my hard drive. Truly spectacular picture Roman. The blue tones mixed with red are divine. c brake 0 Posted September 3, 2007 I've seen images of these canyons many times but never with this light or these colors. 7 on originality. Very, very beautiful image. Link to comment
davidclapp 0 Posted September 3, 2007 Definately the best shot of these canyons I have seen, nice sense of space rather than the hemmed / sqaushed in claustrophobia you get from others. Great colours as well, the only thing I would nit is the very bright patch which could have been avoided with an exposure blend, but I like the glow actually so forget I said it! Great work. (I would limit the size of the image to stop image theft if I were you, its a little too printable!) Link to comment
yereth 0 Posted September 3, 2007 Just... wow! The colours are amazing and the place surreal. Where is this taken? Link to comment
keith pena 0 Posted September 4, 2007 Superb image!!! Brillant color tones, DOF, and use of wide angle lens. Did you use any filters or refine color in LAB color space? Someone already said it...but one of the better canyon photos ever. Thanks for sharing. Link to comment
